EWUG 2007 Call for Presentations

Perhaps your one of the few people that read this blog and not on our email list. EWUG is seeking presentations for the October 9th & 10th Conference. The conference will be in Madison at the Crowne Plaza Madison Hotel.

Presentations are invited on broad subjects of interest to ESRI users.
  • Presentations on the use of ESRI software (ArcGIS Server, ArcMap and/or extensions, Programming: VB, VBA, .Net, Java, Python, etc… )
  • We are especially interested in having a discussion panel of users who have experience with ArcGIS Server and/or ArcSDE technology. Please let dhaines@ewug.org know if you are interested in being on a discussion panel.
  • How to’s and Tips & Tricks presentations. Many people are interested in the basics. Consider doing a presentation on some of the shortcuts you’ve found over the years.
  • New and exciting applications of ESRI software in any field/industry (Business Geographics, Public Works & Utilities, Public Safety, Transportation, Government, Student Presentations, Cartography, Vendor Presentations)
If you would like to present, please send the following to dhaines@ewug.org
  • Presentation Title
  • Brief presentation description
  • Names, title and affiliations of presenter(s)
Each presentation will receive one free conference registration. All presenters will receive a free EWUG T-shirt. There will be 30 minute and 45 minute presentations slots available. LCD projectors will be available. Please bring your own laptop.

The deadline for presentation submissions is July 30th.

Are you not from Wisconsin? That’s ok, we welcome your presentation!

If your not familiar with the conference, we've been doing this since 1999. Our attendance averages around 230 per year. Our attendees come from the whole range of the GIS spectrum, Federal/State/Local government, Academia, and the private-sector.
