Wis. GIO Leaving For Private Sector

Here's the email that went out to WLIA members this afternoon:

Dear WLIA members,

I wanted to let you all know that I will be leaving the GIO role as of August 3rd to take a great opportunity with GeoAnalytics. It has been great working with you over the past two years to improve the GIS landscape within the state of Wisconsin. I appreciate all the support you have provided me in this role and hope we can continue to work together on our efforts to improve overall coordination of statewide GIS efforts.

DOA is committed to supporting the enterprise GIS program and will be working on filling the GIO position as soon as possible. It is our responsibility to ensure success of the statewide GIS program by continuing to raise awareness and educate our constituencies on the importance of GIS coordination and the implementation of the statewide strategic plan initiatives.
